Barrio Barista
Barrio Barista is a Coffee shop with a San Antonio flair. From the Barbacoa grilled cheese to Horchata latte it brought San Antonio to a coffee shop. Barrio is a family owned business on the Northwest side. They even have open mic on certain days of the week. Definitely a hidden gem here in San Antonio. If you’re a student at St. Mary’s this is a great coffee shop to study and get some work done.

Indy Coffee has great vibes and plays fresh music to get you started in all the work you have to get done. There are a few tables connected to the wall that is pretty spacious to spread out. However, it does get busy because it’s in a perfect location for UTSA students. Friday and Saturday’s, they do cereal milk lattes which are worth the weekend trip over there

Cafe Martinez is an aesthetically pleasing, modern coffee shop located close to UT Health San Antonio's campus. A lot of the time, there will be students there studying or working on projects. However, Martinez coffee shop is spacious you won’t feel too cramped. On the blackboard wall by the mounted Bicycle is weekly special to save some $$.

Shotgun House Roasters is an open, welcoming space to get all your work done. The location is inside of a warehouse which can be a little tricky to find, but it’s a hidden gem. However, if you follow the sign that says “Coffee” with an arrow, it will lead you to it. If you’re a student at the downtown UTSA campus or go to Our Lady of the Lake University this is the place for you!

Press Coffee is a great environment to get work done. You are surrounded by windows which bring is such great lighting for working and getting all your homework done. There is also greenery scenery to look at. It’s a beautiful and super welcoming place to get all things on your to-do list complete. UIW students, this one’s all for you!
