When was the last time you actually cleaned out your fridge? Let’s be honest? I personally clean mine out every other week with a huge deep clean every month. Here’s the thing, you’re using cleaning products under your kitchen sink which I personally recommend stopping. So I’ve partnered with Art of Green® to show you an alternative to the cleaning products you’re used to working with. Art of Green products is designed to be totally effective (yes, they cut the grease and grime just as good as the other guys) and smell great.

Here are some quick and dirty tips to keep your fridge clean. Make sure you check everything for expiration dates- that means condiments too! Empty out your fridge and wipe things down using the Art of Gree wipes. Things leak- it’s inevitable. So generously spray the shelves, drawers, and inside of the fridge with Art of Green multi-purpose spray. Give a few extra shots to sticky messes. Close the fridge and let the spray sit for a few minutes. Scrub out with a sponge. If you’re ever in doubt of how long something’s been in there then toss it out. It’s better to spend a couple of minutes in your fridge bi-weekly than wonder what’s that smell weeks later. Another thing don’t forget your condenser coils too! Coils in most newer models reside under the front kick plate. Remove the plate and use and vacuum attachment to get dust, debris and pet hair off the coils. This can help extend the life of your refrigerator!

Art of Green is a biodegradable formula that is non-toxic meaning no harsh chemicals and is made of at least 98% natural ingredients. In other words, it’s safe to use around kids and pets. So you can rest easy knowing that one of the benefits of Art of Green being a green alternative is that the non-toxic formula is free of parabens, phthalates, glycol solvents, artificial color or phosphates. Art of green is only available at HEB so make sure you add it to your list when you shop there.
