Lick Honest Ice Cream

Can you believe that this place is selling NEW, LIMITED-TIME ONLY pies? The two flavors available are Spiced Sweet Potato Ice Cream and Hazel’s Pumpkin Ice Cream Pie. How delicious do those sound? Each pie is only $25 + tax and you can’t say that’s not a great deal. If you’ve never had Lick’s Honest Ice Cream, you are really missing out! I’ve had their ice cream with a friend and the flavors are unbeatable HONESTly.

*You can order these Pies online and pre-order begins on October 21st!

CakeArtSA

I am a sucker for fresh pies made from scratch. I especially love a variety to choose from! CakeArtSA has 10 pies that you can choose from and you can even ask for a custom pie! How nice of them! The prices range from $18 - $24, now that is a holiday miracle. Personally, the Cranberry Cherry pie sounds delicious. I’m probably going to order one now…

BIRD Bakery

I know you’ve tried the cupcakes and possibly the sandwiches, but trust me you need to try these pies. Year-round they have 7 delectable choices to choose from, but they also have 4 seasonal pies that are made by special order if necessary! Mini pies, cheesecakes, and cobblers are available in house but other pies must be ordered!

Bill Miller

The infamous Bill Miller’s holiday pies are where it’s at. Last night, I forced my dad to go pick me up a slice of pumpkin pie because I just had to have it. These are the pies that are perfect for any last-minute errands, they’re both quick and delicious. They have 6 nine-inch pies that you can order now! Pumpkin is definitely my go-to!

Jim’s

This restaurant is the best place to go to during the holiday season. Their hot chocolate with a slice of Coconut Cream pie makes me feel at home. I always look forward to seeing all their cakes and pies in the display window, my mouth waters like nobody's business. These pies and cakes start at just $8.99, so basically, this is a steal.

Central Market

If you’re always last minute (no judgment I am too) you must pick-up a pie from the Gucci-B. The most you’ll probably spend is $17.99 for a whole, homemade pie. I recommend the Central Market Wild Maine Blueberry Pie, it is delicious and the berries pop in your mouth!

CIA Apple Pie Bakery Cafe

Thanksgiving pies are amazing and you need more than one option when picking the perfect place to order them from! Apple Pie Bakery Cafe at CIA has five delicious pies to choose from. Thankfully they also have specialty pies available for you!  Gluten-free and sugar-free pies are available to order! How nice! Think about those who couldn’t enjoy Thanksgiving pies… now you can be the favorite! Prices range from $16 - $24.

Twin Sisters Bakery

This bakery is unlike any other. Click this link, like, and comment on this post to pick up a free chocolate walnut pie! Twin Sisters Bakery has delicious pies, cakes, and cookies, stop by and order your desserts for your family Thanksgiving!

Meemo’s Bakery

Finally, the holiday treats are out and warming in the oven waiting for pickup! Not only does Meemo’s have pies and cakes, but Christmas cookies and fudge are now available. Personally, I am so excited to put in my order! With all these options to choose from, I’m going to probably have many rock, paper, scissors matches.

Pho Hung Cuong Bakery

You wouldn’t think to order a pie from a Vietnamese restaurant, well think again. Ever heard of the “League of Pies”? Well, Pho Hung Cuong is the founder of the most delectable pies in San Antonio. Remember Marie Callender’s? Well, guess where their baker went? HERE (well he never left)! Traditional and Cream pies made from scratch and ready for pickup. Check out the pictures on their website because your mouth will start watering.

Bumdoodler’s

Drive out to Boerne for some pie! The prices range from $14 - $30. Trust me the drive is worth it. If I were you I would bring something different to dinner, like pumpkin cheesecake. How delish is that?

Tip Top Cafe

My dad used to bring me here all the time. We would always grab a slice of the pie even if we were full. But, I remember we always placed it on hold before we started ordering because they sell out so fast! That says a lot, doesn’t it? Stop by and order a flakey pie for your holiday dinner!

Bakery Lorraine

You know Bakery Lorraine for their scrumptious macarons but did you know they make pies for the holiday season? You have four options to choose from including: roasted in house pumpkin pie, Jack Daniel’s no & Whiskey Pecan, Apple Cranberry with Christmas Spice and Dutch Apple with five types of apple. All pies are pre-order only and must be picked up Nov. 27 but you can pick whichever time and location is convenient to you. -gm

The Bread Box

Say you’re in charge of pies and dinner rolls? Then making The Bread Box your spot for your holiday needs is a must. It’ll also save a lot of time so you’re actually able to spend some time relaxing with your loved ones. They’re only offering a small selection but trust me it’s worth it. Pies included are the Hummingbird, pecan, apple and pumpkin. -gm

Take my word for it, these places are all equally delicious and worth a try. No matter which restaurant or bakery you choose your family or friends will definitely be thankful this Thanksgiving!
